Samsung Galaxy S II to Arrive on July 21st
Bell, Virgin Mobile and SaksTel have confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S II will be coming to Canada on the 21st of July. Initially, the phone was supposed to be released on the 14th of July but the date has been pushed as Bell wanted to confirm that adequate supply will be available as they are anticipating high demand when it is released.
The Samsung Galaxy S II has a 4.3 inch Super Amoled Plus display, Dual Core Application processor and is only 8.9mm thick. The smart phone also uses 3D TouchWiz UX which gives the phone an evolutionary experience with a futuristic interface.
The Samsung Galaxy also houses a HSPA+ 21mbps feature, which makes video streaming an awesome experience. The AllShare feature present on the phone also allows you to wirelessly link the phone to any device such as your TV, laptop or even an audio system to play multimedia files directly from the phone. The AllShare synchronizes the phone with a compatible DLNA based product.
Samsung Galaxy S II also has an 8 mega pixel, auto focus camera. The camera is equipped with an LED flash. The Android Gingerbread allows quick switching so you can switch to the front, 2 mega pixel camera for self-portraits. It has a 1080p full HD video recording.
The phone has a feature called the Samsung Voice Solution which allows you to execute major functions like calling, messaging, playing music and launching apps with voice commands.
The Samsung Galaxy will cost around $600 off-contract. There is still no word on on-contract pricing.
