German Court favors Apple over Samsung

German Court favors Apple over SamsungGerman court has stood by its verdict to stop local Samsung unit from continuing with the sales of its Galaxy 10.1 tablets in European markets thereby giving Apple Inc yet another legal success which will assist it in retaining its prominent position among the tablet market.

Apple and Samsung have been in legal disputes from April internationally over Smartphone and tablet patents whereas Samsung has also said to appeal against the verdict given by the German court.

Samsung Galaxy tablets are considered by many people to give tough competition to iPad, Apple’s leading tablet where there is every possibility for Galaxy tablets to be successful as expected by the company if they were not blocked by the verdict given by the court which halts the innovations and progress which are going at rapid space in the market.

Further, Samsung also has agreed to look at all the possibility which will help them in getting ahead in this matter ahead against Apple where they have been accused for disobeying the wireless technology copyrights throughout the globe.

An analyst Craig Cartier from Frost & Sullivan has stated that the verdict given on Friday might not immensely affect Samsung since they can most probably proceed for other courts and get balanced in the copyrights disputes internationally.

This verdict given on Friday by court will for a while stop Samsung based in Germany to halt their sales of Galaxy 10.1 tablet.

However, the retailers in Media Markt will possibly be able to sell all the existing stock of these devices or they can also get some fresh stock from Samsung International copyrights owners based in South Korea.

However, Media Markt has informed that it is too early to see how this ruling given by Germany court will have an impact on the present business.

Supporting this verdict given, Judge Johanna Brueckner Hofmann has state in the court at Duesseldorf that the design of Galaxy tablet appears quite similar to the one used by iPad from Apple.
