Samsung has decided to make separate announcements about the details of OS updates which are scheduled for upgradable models based on the market situation and carrier requirement. This Ice Cream Sandwich is expected to give out an entirely new look and feel to all the Android users. The user interface has been redesigned with enhanced multi-tasking, notifications, Wi-Fi hotspot, NFC support and also entirely new web browsing experience.

A new People App is provided by Ice Cream Sandwich that permits the users to go through the pictures, messages and social network updates from friends or kinsfolk and colleagues. There are certain new initiatives like Face Unlock by Ice Cream Sandwich that allows the users to make use of facial recognition to unlock the smartphone.

Android Beam uses NFC technology that will permit the users to rapidly share their web pages, apps and YouTube videos with near ones by simply tapping two phones back to back. There are certain fun effects which can be used at the time of shooting videos or while utilizing the video chat through Google Talk.
